DO YOU KNOW THE STORY BEHIND THE GAZAK DISH, HOW IT EVOLVED?
The story behind this goes long time ago, when India is ruled by the Mughal Emperors. During then kings of Hindu Dynasty uses milk, butter to get strength and energy for the body, where as Mughal Emperors are non-vegetarians eat fish and meat to get strength for their body and for their soldiers whereas kings of Hindu Dynasty uses til, gud, chana to get energy, they also feed their horses gud, chana for the energy during war. Therefore people at that time started using chana with gud, peanuts and til in order to get same level of energy as compare to milk, butter and vegetables to get energy. Slowly then with the mixture of many material like til, gud, peanut, chana, dry fruit, kaju, badam ghee etc. this different type of sweet Gajak was introduced, from time to time sweets has many forms and Gajak is also changed in to many varieties because Gajak is the kind of sweet which people eats in winter season and its is also beneficial for health.
In Today’s world every person wants to eat good and healthy food. Gajak is made from good and fresh materials like til, gud, peanut,chana,dry fruit ,kaju,badam ghee etc .
